We all know the end of the year is a great time to reflect on the year that was and set up goals for the year ahead.
When I was very young, my mum taught me this simple ritual and I have been doing it for many years.
On the 31st of December, I write a letter to the year that is ending (2015) thanking it for all the great moments I lived, all my achievements, great times I had and even the challenging times. Anything important that I can remember.
I thank the year for all of the learning and great experiences. After that, I write a letter to the coming year (2016) with all my intentions and goals that I want to achieve. I love using my list of 101 dreams for this.
Your dream list is a very important part of accomplishing and having everything you want in life. If you had unlimited time, talent, money, knowledge, self-confidence and support from family, what would you like to do/be/have? Write down 101 goals. Think big!!!
Before 12 pm on the 31st, I burn the letters (I keep a copy of the 101 dream list to check before the end of 2016) and send them to God or the universe or whatever force you believe in.

The letters have 2 purposes for me. One is, being aware of all the blessings I have had, and at the same time, they give me a second of recognition for whatever I have achieved. It also helps me see which areas of my life I want to make some changes in and where I am going to focus my energy to make the next year even better than the current one.
I would love you to take some time to write these 2 letters. Write down everything that comes to mind and then burn them as a cleansing ritual to start fresh with a great new year.

I feel very blessed to have the opportunity to spend this Christmas with my family in Colombia. And from here I wish you a FELIZ NAVIDAD!!!!
