Welcome to 'The outfit of the week' (OOTW).

Today, the OOTW has a twist! I have a video for you as well as some photos.

Are you a woman who wears a lot of black?

Do you wear black because it is easy or because you think it will make you look slimmer?

Watch the video below to hear what I have to say about wearing a lot of black.

Then check out the pictures below with some ideas on how to incorporate a bit more colour in your wardrobe ;)

After watching the video you might want to try adding some colour to your wardrobe. Check out these ideas:

Red or pink lipstick

Sounds simple?

Such a great way to add colour to your face. Especially when wearing black or white.

You will notice I always wear a bright lipstick when wearing a black outfit.

Or what about trying a different colour eyeliner or eyeshadow?

If you have blue eyes: Try blue or brick colour. If you have green eyes: Try green or purple. If you have brown eyes: Try green blue or blue-greens.

Trust me on this one, eye colour can make a huge difference. These colours are your eye enhancer and intensifiers and will look awesome.

Add colours to your accessories.

Add colour to your earrings, necklaces, bracelets, scarves, anything!

Even a small touch of colour can make a big difference.

And the obvious one.

Add colours to your clothes!

If you are scared of having too much colour around your face, what about adding colour to your bottoms? Or even to your shoes.

Just remember that creating strong focal points below the knees can make you appear to be shorter and bigger. So balance it up with some detail closer to the face that brings the attention back up.

Colours will add so much fun and interest to an outfit. Why not give it a try?

Are you ready to stop hiding behind your clothes?
