Welcome to 'The outfit of the week' (OOTW).
But first the inspiration for this week...
If not now, when?
No more hiding, down playing your brilliance and letting others take the front stage.
It is time to be visible now! You are enough and you deserve it.
Let's get to the outfit of this week!
As it is summer in Australia, the last thing I want to do is put on a pair of black pants.
I do love black pants but not when it is warm - my colourful self really feels like coming out to play ;)
So last week, when I needed to look professional but I still could look a bit relaxed, I opted for my beige pants.
I wanted some colour so I looked through my tops - which I have stored by colours - I picked 3 different colours, put them next to the pants on my bed and picked the one that felt more like me that day.
This violet one was the winner! The plain and high neckline really needed a necklace, so I knew gold was the go and picked these 2 separate ones.
As for the shoes...
To keep the colour flowing I went for a nude/gold pair of shoes.
If I needed to, I could have made the outfit look more professional with a jacket. You can wear up to 3 colours on an outfit and look polished. So I would have opted for a similar colour to the pants or a yellow, orange or pink jacket.
I am wearing: Pants: Zara, Top: Marcs, Shoes: Colombia.
Your turn: What different combinations of colour can you create that does not include black?
Remember it is all about standing and walking confidently in your clothes knowing that you are feeling in total alignment with your image.
Have an amazing week!
