Welcome to 'The outfit of the week' (OOTW).
But first the inspiration for this week...
I invite you to take a moment to check how your self image is impacting your life.
Is it helping you along the right path to take or holding you back from greatness?
How we see ourselves is the key to achieving and feeling anything you desire!
Let's get to the outfit of this week!
I have to admit I am not a fan of buying things online. Why? Because for me fit is everything!! So I need to ALWAYS try things on before making a decision.
However, I have taken a risk a couple of times. Like this top in the photo, which had me surprisingly happy and excited because it worked.
If you enjoy online shopping and keep AND wear what you get, you don't need my advice. However, if you are not wearing what you buy or you keep returning things... let me help you out ;)
1. You must have such a great understanding of the styles and colours that work for you. They both need to be perfect for you.
A great style in the wrong colour won't work. A great colour in a style that doesn't work for your body shape = you won't wear it either.
2. Ask yourself, do I need this? And do I have things that will go with this item to end up with a complete outfit (head to toe). One of the biggest mistakes I see women making is buying individual pieces that don't go with anything they already own. Think outfits please - not items.
3. When can I wear this? The other thing I see a lot of is us, women, buying on impulse (me included), because it was on sale, because it was pretty, etc.. But how many pieces do you own that you love BUT you don't have any occasion to wear them to?
Online or at the shops, ask yourself these questions. And if possible create a shopping list. I can assure you it will be so much more exciting to have a wardrobe full of clothes that work together.
I am wearing: Jeans: Saba, Top: Online, Shoes: Zomp.
Have an amazing week!
