Welcome to 'The outfit of the week' (OOTW).

But first the inspiration for this week...

Inspirational Quote Women

If I had waited to have the money, the time, the energy, the confidence... I would have never left my corporate career and started my business, or given my self permission to travel the world, or started dating after having my heart broken into pieces and found my soulmate..

NOW is the perfect time!

Let's get to the outfit of this week!

I have been fortunate to become a media commentator for Channel 9 on their 4 pm News.

Obviously I want to be on brand when I appear on TV, so I put some extra effort into thinking about what image I want to portray.

The segment I participate in is a casual discussion on current topics. So I can be fully me and my opinions and background can be all on display. Yay!

I opt for outfits that reflect that same message. I am a bold, passionate Colombian woman. I wear bling during the day and I share who I am through my clothes. And yes I move my hands a lot.

It's been interesting how much black and white I have worn lately.

But I always create outfits that feel fully me. The bright lipstick was quite bold even for me, but I decided to go with it and ended up loving it.

I am wearing: Top: Colombia, the same jeans as the last few OOTW (OMG let's talk about not fitting most of my bottoms yet!!), Shoes: Brazil and Earrings: Swarovski.

Here are some photos from the day.

It's always funny seeing me and my super expressive faces... and my expressions with my whole body.

Almost never can I find a gentle smile on the photos I get my husband to take..

Sometimes it's unreal to see me on TV...

A Colombian woman who moved to Australia without being able to speak English. The same woman who saw her life go to ashes in front of her eyes...more than once... No! I don't feel better because I have been on TV, but what I do see is how much I've grown and how much I have allowed myself to go for my dreams, and for that I am proud!

Are you fully showing up in the world and are you sharing your brilliance unapologetically?

Have you felt any of these lately:

·         You are not entering rooms holding your head high but instead, you want to be invisible?

·         Taking way too long finding what to wear and second-guessing your options?

·         Stuck in a style that doesn't represent you anymore?

·         Ready for a revamp for a change...

'I was simply expecting a guide on how to dress - but I had it all wrong! I have learned how to feel comfortable in my own skin and how to accentuate my best features. I felt like I had a personal chef. As I walked through the process the ingredients were all staring at me, but the program provided the vital recipe and method for them all to work. THE CONCEPTS ARE REALLY STRAIGHT FORWARD. So thank you Alba - for creating this awesome guide'. Megan Dunstall.

Have an amazing week!
