Welcome to 'The outfit of the week' (OOTW).

But first the inspiration for this week...

What is the best version of yourself that is deep within your core just waiting to come out?

Every single time I feel a bit lost or flat, I go deep to my essence.

The answers to everything are always right there!

Let's get to the outfit of this week!

I get sooo many questions about how to wear white pants all the time!

I must confess, at times I am scared of them too...haha..

As my top here is heavier, white has the ability to make me look even bigger...not ideal... especially as I am carrying (still) more kilos than normal.

The key here is to know what styles to wear so I can still look balanced. And most importantly what top to wear it with, so I can still send the attention to my torso.

For this reason I opted for a flowery and bright top. The neckline is sort of horizontal creating the illusion of a wider top (helps balance the hips). And the earrings (sorry not visible in the photo) are eye catching making the high focal point more obvious.

I wouldn't normally wear black shoes with white pants as the contrast is too high, but because my top has enough black, and there's some black and white detail on the hemline of my jeans, black was actually the best option.

Here, it's all about trying really. When putting outfits together I recommend that you place them on your bed or put them on to decide what looks best.

Now, the style of the pants/jeans is everything! If these were cargo pants, they would make me look huge. But notice I am wearing a style that does not have extra fabric and is fitted. Making me look slimmer. White + loose fit = makes you look wider.

I have probably tried 10 white pants in the last few months and these were finally a great fit for me.  Yes, even I take a while sometimes finding the right fit ;)

In my last couple of emails I mentioned Kate's Stylist School If you are somebody who has considered becoming a Stylist, Kate is the person to learn from.

This is the last chance to join her awesome online course, as it is starting at the end of January.

Kate has made another resource available for you to get a bit more info FOR FREE - her 4 part video series, “Too Good to Be True"

She created this series to empower those of you that have thought, 'Yeah I would LOVE to be a fashion stylist but having a career doing what I LOVE in fashion just seems TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE!!'

And again - if you're interested in learning more about her AMAZING Stylist School, make sure to check that out here

Have an amazing week!
