If there is something I have learned through my own experience and the experience of working with entrepreneurs and corporate clients, it is how we all fail at putting ourselves first.

I don't mean it in a selfish way where no one else matters, but in the way in which I understand that if I am not taking great care of me then how am I expected to perform well in my career or business?

These same rules apply just as much in business and the corporate world as it does in our personal lives.

Me making time to spend by the ocean, something I LOVE

In a presentation last week for the members of The Executive Connection, TEC, I spoke about this and other topics, but the feedback was that this topic resonated with everybody in a big way.

It was a great reminder that we are humans BEings and that we need to take care of ourselves, our desires and dreams. And that life is not only to be spent working and doing or achieving.

We are a person before we are a professional. We have put so much emphasis on our professional development. Our skills and capabilities are valued so highly. But this might come at a cost.

We might have forgotten to pay attention to other parts of our life that are as important. Sometimes is our relationship that suffers, other times is not making time to spend with friends and having fun, on your hobbies or simply taking time to rest and recharge.

I am super passionate about this topic and could talk about it for hours. But today, I would like to invite to reflect on how much are you allowing TIME for you. To take care of your health, your passions and to have fun

Because like on a plane, you need to put the oxygen mask on you before you can help others ;)

And if you are in Perth, I would love to invite you to my next Presence Formula workshop. A full-day workshop dedicated to helping you create a plan to take your personal and professional life to the next level. Read more here. Save $200 by booking now

‘I found the Presence Formula seminar  highly engaging, powerful and thought provoking. It gave me the tools to identify clarity of purpose, and in the process,  incorporate a comprehensive strategic plan to amplify my personal brand and build my business.

I would highly recommend this seminar for any professional looking to build their confidence and develop clarity around their passion and purpose'. Duc Pham

Make this week a great one
