You have heard me talk many times about wearing colour. And I absolutely love colours. However, I also love wearing black.
But when I do it is not by default or because it is easy or a way to hide. It is more about putting together an outfit purposefully in black that looks fantastic.
Every time I go to one of my training events I choose a black outfit. Why? Because even I have lots of black clothes. ;)
This time I chose this black dress. It has quite a bit more detail than the photo shows. There is fabric going from one side to the other in an angle all along the dress. It is fitted but super comfortable.
When I wear black I always put more effort in deciding what accessories to go with it. In this occasion I opted for gold accessories with a pop of colour -aqua. My eye shadow has some aqua too.
My shoes have some pattern which adds more fun to the look as well.
I always create a statement with the accessories when wearing black and this allows me completely to transform the look and feel more like me. Otherwise, I can feel invisible wearing black.
My question to you is- are you creating fun and well put together outfits with black, or are you just simply wearing black and hiding behind it? Because if you are I would love to invite you to spice things up a bit by adding accessories or even a lipstick with colour.
