The truth is I have had this dress for a while, but this is the first time I have worn it.
I love the style and fit, even the details on the waist. However it felt a bit plain for me. Maybe because it's black... I know. I am different to most women ;)
Anyway! I had a busy day with meetings and I wanted to be comfortable. The fabric on this dress is super stretchy.
I love fabrics that feel really comfortable. This is one of the first things I ask myself when buying clothes: Is this comfortable to wear?
Back to the dress: I loved the fact that it has different details including the little pearl detail on the side of the waist. I love the neckline and sleeves as well. So I added a statement necklace to add some interest to the V neckline.
I picked a pair of black shoes that have some extra detail at the back. And to finish a bright eyeliner!
For me wearing all black is something I do carefully. I am adding interest to the outfit through the accessories I wear, as the colour is too plain for me. Remember above all I am staying true to who I am. A bold dresser ;) I want my image to be in total alignment with who I am. To tell a real story about me.
