Have you asked yourself lately, why aren't you already making x amount of money, at a certain level in a company or business, married with kids, or further down the path? I have!
I am re-reading my book, Psycho-Cybernetics by Maxwell Maltz. I got to a part where he shares how it is confirmed by science that every human being has been 'engineered for success'.
So if that is the case, why aren't we all wildly successful today? The short answer is, because of the 'incorrect' self-image we have of ourselves.
I am so passionate about this topic, and as I have shared in previous emails the reason I got interested in it is because of my own story and the terrible self-image I always held of myself. I became fascinated with the topic in the search to 'fix' myself. Then I became really passionate about helping professionals upgrade and clarify their self-image so they can step up and succeed.
I now know that most people don't need more qualifications or a new skill. What most of us need is an irrefutable self-belief that will allow us to start acting as the person who achieves whatever we see as our next level.
That is why my approach to personal branding and presence starts with focusing on 'YOU' and understanding yourself better. The reason you don't show up as you wish you did lays in clearly understanding your self-image today.
Once you have 100% clarity on how you truly see yourself and have adjusted it to be consistent with where you want to go, learning the tools of how to speak with more power, use your body language to support what you say and creating a presence that turns heads, becomes very easy and fun.
Being seen as a professional and credible individual that at the same time is charismatic and authentic IS possible. And it doesn't require you to change who you are. Completely the opposite the more you are you and own all of who you are, the easier it becomes.
I speak with people all the time that just want the 'tool' on how to communicate better, to learn how to sell more, to increase their presence, to have more clarity, or to get a promotion. I explain how it all starts with their self-image and mindset and that without this important piece, any 'tool' is almost useless.
Yes, it can be a bit uncomfortable to look deep into ourselves but this part of the work is always the most life-changing part. It definitely makes the whole difference to the results you get.
