Last Saturday, I was in Melbourne for a friend's birthday. I knew it was going to be a cold afternoon/night, so it did take me a while to choose what to wear. My brain is not registering winter outfits yet...
I knew I was going to have to wear boots. So I started putting this outfit together knowing it needed to work with my shoes.
I had 2 options: Dress + leggings + boots OR Top + bottom + boots.
I decided I wanted pants and a top. I wanted to look dressy but fun. I love these leggings because they have the leather bit on the side. This blingy top was perfect for the look I was going for. However I felt too dark.
I started looking for a necklace in silver or gold that could bring some brightness to the look, and I found it! The new necklace I bought in Dubai last month. ;)
I spoke about wearing black before, but this is a case of wearing black in a purposeful way. Adding some bling and different textures makes the outfit more exciting.
I was, of course, wearing a jacket and even had an extra scarf in case it was really, really cold.
